Balbirnie Park is a 415 acre country
park that was once part of an historic estate dating from the 14th
Century. The park has an outstanding collection of rhododendrons along
with many woodland walks.
Facilities include an 18 hole golf
course, caravan park, children's play area and a picnic area. Also
within the park is Balbirnie craft centre, housed in the old stable
block. The craft centre comprises
a collection of local craftsmen selling jewellery, pottery, glassworks,
pictures and leather goods.
